Dust-Controlled Demolition & Thorough Cleanup
Floor demolition creates dust and debris, but the right equipment can limit how far fine particles travel. We use dust-controlled systems designed to capture particles at the source. Because no demolition process is completely dust-free, we also consider containment, site access, surrounding finishes, and whether the property will remain occupied.
Our removal and preparation work can include:
- Protecting nearby rooms, finishes, and work areas before removal begins.
- Scraping and shaving residual material from the exposed surface.
- Vacuuming debris and completing a final surface inspection.
- Using concrete grinding or concrete scarifying when the slab requires further material removal.
- Performing selective demolition on specified interior or non-structural elements while preserving surrounding areas.
Concrete grinding uses abrasive tooling to remove coatings and surface residue. Scarifying cuts more aggressively to remove thicker material or create a different surface profile. We select the method according to the slab condition and the surface requirements for the next project phase.
