Our Five-Stage Floor Removal Process
Our process takes each project from the initial review through final cleanup. Preparation begins after the existing floor and related materials have been removed.
The five stages are:
- Work-Area Review: We review the project space and the materials scheduled for removal before work begins.
- Site Protection: Our team protects adjacent surfaces and establishes the removal zone before starting floor demolition.
- Material Removal: We remove the identified flooring, adhesives, coatings, and related components included in the project scope.
- Surface Preparation: We scrape, shave, and vacuum loose material from the exposed surface. Concrete grinding or concrete scarifying is added when needed.
- Final Inspection & Cleanup: We inspect the prepared area, haul away loose material, and complete the final cleanup.
Once we finish, the property owner or contractor can coordinate the installation phase with the flooring provider selected for the project.
